I started Annalise on rice cereal and solids this week and she loves it! She loves her sweet potatoes and finished one whole jar the first time I gave her some. Little piggy!
Alexis went to the dentist for the first time the other day. The cool thing about going to Dr. Bop was that he was Matt's dentist when he was a kid. He was so happy to see Matt too, he said he remembered him. Anyways Alexis was such a good lil girl. They took her to the back alone while we waited in waiting room. About 45 min later they called us back and said she was healthy and what a great job she had did. They even took a picture for me and sent Alexis home with a letter from Dr. Bop telling her what a great job she did and how he looked forward to seeing her in 6 mo. How cute!
We went to the beach last month for the weekend and had an awesome time. We met up with my in-laws who take and park their travel trailer at an RV park at the beach. Its nice to have the comforts of home so near by, especially having an infant. When we had had enough of the sun we would just go in and watch a little TV. Here is a little video I made while we were there.
Annalise had her 4 month checkup today. I had to take Alexis with me because Matt was going to go into work early. I was worried Alexis would get upset watching her baby sister get her 4 months shots but she did well. She comforted her sissy and kept telling her everything would be ok. *what a sweetheart* Annalise weighed 13 lbs 1 oz and was 23 inches long. She is in the 25th percentile for both weight and height.
Saturday was Matt and my 5 year wedding anniversary. We went to Orlando for the night and stayed at one of the Lake Buena Vista Resorts. We got there around 2 and checked into our awesome suite. I felt so guilty leaving my girls behind because all I saw were families with their children. BTW this is the first time we had gone out since Annalise was born. Anyways we ate at one of our favorite restaurants UNO Pizza and Grill. The "Numero Uno" is what we always order and boy was it good. We had a great time and ended the night playing Nintendo Gamecube in the room. Simple and Fun. And yes I whooped Matt in Mariocart. lol
I'm cooking dinner and Alexis runs into the kitchen for me to hurry up and come into the living room. I wipe my hands and go see what the fuss is all about. "Ani is a Supah Star Mama" Alexis says. She put her apple sunglasses on her baby sister. It was the cutest thing because Annalise was just sitting in her bouncy chair looking around with a huge smile. You know I had to snap a pic. Here is my future Supah Star!!!
